The appointment, confirmed during the General Assembly in Barcelona, reflects the dedication and commitment Ignasi has demonstrated throughout his career. <\/p>\n<p>Comertia brings together 59 companies, representing 120 retail brands with 4,500 points of sale. These companies generate 40,000 direct jobs and achieve an annual turnover of \u20ac9 billion. <\/p>\n<h2>Committed leadership for the future of retail<\/h2>\n<p>Ignasi Pietx, CEO of Artyplan since 1993, has been actively involved in various business organisations. He has served as Vice President of Comertia, member of Femcat, board member of the CATT Tourism Business &amp; Planning cluster, and partner of C\u00edrculo de Econom\u00eda. An economist by training, he began his career as General Manager of Textil TC.  <\/p>\n<p>Under his leadership, Artyplan has grown significantly, becoming a benchmark in the sector. His appointment as President of Comertia recognises his leadership skills and his vision for the future of retail. <\/p>\n<h2>Objectives and priorities<\/h2>\n<p>In his new role, Ignasi Pietx will focus on several key areas for the development of the retail sector.
