Adhesive vinyl printing

Self-adhesive vinyl

We print cut and printed adhesive vinyl for shop windows, walls, floors and vehicles at our production facilities in Barcelona and Madrid, with installation and removal included when required by the project. Choosing the right material makes all the difference: monomeric vinyl lasts around 3 years and is suitable for campaigns and flat surfaces, while polymeric vinyl lasts up to 5 years and is recommended for long-term outdoor applications and gentle curves. We recommend the most suitable option based on the surface, the duration of the campaign and whether it will need to be removed without leaving any residue. This service is part of our large-format printing solutions for businesses.

Types of printing for self-adhesive vinyl

Cut adhesive vinyl: this type of vinyl has a coloured background and can be cut into any shape. It is used for both indoor and outdoor signage and graphics, as well as on vehicles and shop windows. It allows you to decorate flat and curved surfaces with your logo using a self-adhesive film.

Printed Self-Adhesive Vinyl: White (or transparent) vinyl onto which any desired design can be printed. There are no colour or shape limitations. It is commonly used for signage in shop windows and interior spaces, among other applications.

Monomeric or polymeric vinyl: which one to choose

The choice depends on the duration of the campaign, the surface and the installation conditions.

Monomeric vinyl Polymeric vinyl
Durability: around 3 years Durability: around 5 years
Use: temporary campaigns Use: long-term applications
Surface: flat Surface: flat or gently curved
Cost: more affordable Cost: greater stability and durability

For a six-month campaign on a flat surface, we normally recommend monomeric vinyl. For vehicles, long-term outdoor applications or gently curved surfaces, we recommend polymeric vinyl.

Finishes for adhesive vinyls

Matte lamination: reduces reflections and provides a more understated finish.

Gloss lamination: enhances colours and protects the print from wear and cleaning.

Die-cutting: allows the vinyl to be cut to the shape of letters, logos or custom designs.

Anti-slip finish: recommended for floor vinyl in shops, events and commercial spaces.

We print adhesive vinyl in full colour, on one or both sides depending on the material and application.

The price mainly depends on the material —monomeric or polymeric—, the surface area, the chosen finish and the complexity of the installation. With the measurements and a photograph of the surface, we can prepare a quote tailored to the project.

As with many businesses, at Artyplan we are fully aware of the environmental impact of our activities. That is why we offer ecological alternatives, such as PVC-free vinyl. The printing process is carried out using eco-friendly latex inks and recyclable materials.

Frequently asked questions about adhesive vinyl

What is the difference between monomeric and polymeric vinyl?

Monomeric vinyl lasts around 3 years outdoors and is more affordable, making it ideal for campaigns, promotions and flat surfaces. Polymeric vinyl lasts up to 5 years, adapts to gentle curves and leaves less residue when removed, making it the standard option for long-term signage and vehicle graphics.

What determines the price of printed vinyl?

It depends on four factors: the material —monomeric or polymeric—, the surface area, the finish —gloss, matte or anti-slip lamination for floors— and the complexity of the installation. With the measurements and a photograph of the surface, we can prepare a quote tailored to the project.

Can vinyl be installed on a shop floor?

Yes, using certified anti-slip floor lamination. It is commonly used in retail to mark routes and promotions, and it can be removed without damaging the flooring.
