Advertising banner printing

Advertising banners

We print 510 g/m² frontlit, backlit and perforated advertising banners as part of our large-format printing services, finished with eyelets, sleeves or perimeter stitching depending on the application. Our in-house team installs them on façades, scaffolding and hoardings throughout Spain from our production facilities in Barcelona and Madrid. For locations exposed to wind, we use mesh banners, which allow air to pass through and prevent the sail effect; for backlit applications, we use backlit banners; and for all other applications, frontlit banners, the most widely used option for façades and hoardings.

What types of banners are available?

Mesh banners (micro-perforated banners): are the preferred outdoor advertising banners in areas exposed to strong wind.

They are lighter than other types and are commonly used on scaffolding. They reduce the sail effect and adapt to all weather conditions thanks to their micro-perforated structure, which allows air to pass through.

Blackout banners: These banners include an internal black layer that provides a fully opaque finish.
They are typically installed outdoors, for example in lamp post banners or event tents.

Backlit banners: are translucent PVC banners that allow light to pass through from the rear. For this reason, they are usually installed in lightboxes or illuminated structures.
Also known as
backlit banners, they are ideal for both indoor and outdoor applications in low-light areas or where night-time visibility is required.

Frontlit banners are the most commonly used option for printing advertising banners and signage, both indoors and outdoors. They are suitable for façades, billboards or display structures.. They do not allow light to pass through.

Materials for printing advertising banners

We adapt to each project by selecting the appropriate materials according to the intended use, installation requirements and weather conditions.

Backlit banner: It is used in light boxes and backlit displays. The material distributes light from behind to create an even image with vivid colours.

Mesh banner: It is suitable for scaffolding, party walls and façades exposed to wind. Its microperforations allow air to pass through, reduce the load on the structure and prevent the sail effect.

Frontlit banner: It is the most widely used banner for façades, hoardings and outdoor signage. Its opaque surface provides sharp, consistent print quality when the graphic is illuminated from the front.

We produce banners with full-colour printing on one side or double-sided printing. For large-format banners, perimeter reinforcement with eyelets can be applied to ensure secure fixing and increased resistance to tearing.

Fire-retardant banners for venues and public spaces

For trade shows, venues, shopping centres and public spaces, we offer banners with a certified reaction-to-fire classification in accordance with UNE-EN 13501-1. The required classification depends on the venue’s requirements and the type of installation. Before production, we verify the required material and provide its technical data sheet and certificate.

For exhibition stands, stage backdrops and lightweight reusable graphics, we also offer large-format fabric printing.
