What sets a full-service graphic production company apart from a traditional printer?

The core of the service is never outsourced. Spain has 6,388 graphic arts companies, and 91.3% have fewer than ten employees, according to the Fundae sector study prepared by PwC (2025). Most print well. Very few can also warehouse your campaign, prepare it store by store, move it between cities and install it. When every stage is handled by a different supplier, every problem has three people responsible for it, yet none is ultimately accountable to you. At Artyplan, all these stages are handled in-house: machinery, warehouses, our logistics network between Barcelona and Madrid, and installation teams coordinated by our Customer Service Centre. Only 29 companies in the sector have more than 100 employees. We are one of them, and have been for 60 years.

Why does the size of your graphic production supplier matter?

Because the sector is consolidating: between 2016 and 2023, almost one in five graphic arts companies in Spain disappeared — a 19.1% decrease, from 7,896 to 6,388 (Fundae/PwC 2025) — and only 38.5% of those remaining have been operating for more than 23 years. Choosing a supplier for recurring campaign contracts also means choosing a company that is likely to still be there three years from now. We sign three-year framework agreements with major FMCG brands precisely because we have the capacity to sustain them: consistent industrial capacity, two production centres and 60 years of proven results.

How your campaign moves through Artyplan

Without outsourcing the core service: the same point of contact and the same accountability throughout all six stages.

A campaign that starts in Barcelona can be rolled out throughout Spain without changing hands.

Where do we produce?

From two of our own production centres connected by an in-house logistics network: Barcelona (+5,000 m²) and Madrid (+2,000 m²). Wherever your campaign starts, we produce where it best suits the deadline and deliver wherever your network is located. If you work in either city, you can also visit the production facility in person: find out more about graphic production in Barcelona and graphic production in Madrid.

Brands that trust Artyplan with their graphic production

Nestlé, Kellogg’s, ALDI, Bayer, Grifols and Estrella Damm are among the brands that have entrusted campaigns to Artyplan. We have completed installations in more than 1,000 pharmacies across Spain and manage year-round promotional calendars for FMCG brands.

“Our sector has become full of intermediaries who outsource printing and manage everything by email. We took the opposite approach: keeping the machinery, warehouse and installation teams in-house. It costs more to maintain, but it is the only way to promise a deadline and meet it.”

What is a full-service graphic production company?

It is a company that manages the entire graphic-material production cycle without outsourcing its key stages: printing, finishing, warehousing, order preparation, distribution and installation. Artyplan has been doing this from its own facilities in Barcelona and Madrid since 1965.

Commercial printing, large-format printing, POS displays, packaging, warehousing, picking and logistics, point-of-sale and trade-show installation, a Web-to-Print platform, a technical department and our sustainable Green Print production line.

Yes, and with complete discretion. We produce from the agency’s final artwork, respect its relationship with the end client, and our technical department checks the files before printing to avoid any unexpected issues.

Yes. Our Barcelona and Madrid production centres are connected by our own logistics network, so campaigns can be produced wherever best suits the deadline and delivered and installed anywhere in Spain, including the islands.

There is no fixed minimum. Our model is particularly suited to brands, retailers and agencies with recurring requirements or multi-site campaigns, from a one-off print run with installation to annual framework agreements.

Yes. Under our Green Print commitment, Artyplan produces using FSC®-certified paper and cardboard, VOC-free inks and ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certifications, with low-impact printing processes at both production centres.
