Large-format fabric printing

Printing on Fabric

We provide large-format fabric printing for exhibition stands, stage backdrops, flags and space decoration using lightweight, non-reflective fabrics that can be transported folded and installed in minutes. For trade shows and public spaces, we work with fire-retardant polyester fabrics rated B-s1,d0 under UNE-EN 13501-1, the standard commonly required by venues, and provide the material’s technical data sheet and certificate with every project. We produce from our facilities in Barcelona and Madrid and provide services throughout Spain.

Fire-retardant fabrics for trade shows and venues

The reaction to fire of materials is classified using Euroclasses in accordance with UNE-EN 13501-1. The letter —from A1 to F— indicates the material’s behaviour when exposed to fire; smoke production is classified from s1 to s3, and the formation of flaming droplets from d0 to d2.

For textile graphics used in exhibition stands and public spaces, venues commonly require fabrics with a B-s1,d0 classification: limited combustibility, low smoke production and no flaming droplets. We provide the material’s technical data sheet and certificate so that the installation team can include them in the venue access documentation.

Digital textile printing techniques

Below, we outline the different techniques used to print on fabric. One notable aspect of these techniques is their environmentally responsible approach, using water-based inks and recyclable materials.

We provide expert guidance to help our clients choose the most suitable printing technique for their specific requirements, ensuring optimal, customised results for every project.

Applications of printed fabric in interior design and advertising

Large-format fabric printing has a wide range of applications. In interior design, printing on fabric is used to add a personal and distinctive touch to commercial spaces, events and trade shows, while in advertising it helps brands stand out and attract customers:

Interior decoration: Large-format indoor printing is used to create photographs, artwork, wallpaper, textile frames and light boxes, decorative canvases and customised coverings that enhance interior spaces.

For advertising: banners, hanging signs, display stands, shop windows, counters, displays, photocalls and backlit panels are some of the large-format applications.

Dye sublimation and reuse

Dye-sublimation printing fixes the colour directly into the fabric fibres, without solvents or a surface coating. The result is a lightweight, non-reflective graphic with good resistance to wear.

Printed fabrics can be folded, washed and reused between trade shows without losing colour intensity. This is a practical solution for brands that attend several events each year and need to transport and install the same graphics in different spaces.

For sensitive indoor environments, we work with GREENGUARD Gold-certified low-emission solutions suitable for retail spaces, hospitality, education and other indoor settings.

We also produce textile graphics for light boxes and events and trade show projects.

Frequently asked questions about textile printing

What do exhibition venues require for textile graphics?

Materials with a certified reaction-to-fire classification under UNE-EN 13501-1. For printed fabrics, the reference classification is B-s1,d0: limited combustibility, low smoke production and no flaming droplets. The material certificate forms part of the documentation submitted to the venue by the installation team.

Can the fabric be reused between events?

Yes: dye-sublimation printing is integrated into the fabric fibres, so the material can be folded, washed and reinstalled without losing colour intensity. It is the most practical option for trade show schedules with several events throughout the year.
